Training Tip of the Week:
I learned this from one of our team leaders, Brad Nelson. Being in this business for 13 years we are still in a learning process. It will never stop. You get bet or worse, you never stay the same. We tell our athletes this as a coach, why would it be any different in the world of a life changing business like AdvoCare?
This week's tip is on utilizing emails by inserting or attaching YouTube videos. Why attach them? First, some people are visual and some learn more by listening. YouTube videos provide a free tool that offers one the ability to use both senses.
How do I attach them? Go to
http://www.youtube.com/ and enter AdvoCare in the search box and then the name of the person you think by sharing will have the most impact. Two examples for you here. Mike and Sara Juve are coming to Cedar Rapids tomorrow for a two hour training. Now, they make over 15K per month and are both extremely fit. If I was trying to share with a new advisor why you want to attend to get trained by the Juve's I would send this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98S7A0g2jdY&feature=related.
If I was attempting to get a new prospect to an AIM or BOM and the prospect was really into fitness I would send this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHBS-pIwR3E. Both work for different reasons. One to promote the products and one to promote the business. Get it?
Monday night there is a business opportunity training in Johnston, IA with special guest JP Penzkover. JP doesn't get to this area very often. In fact, this is the first time to my knowledge he is closing a meeting out in the Des Moines area. I am using an email to invite a new recruit to see JP by attaching this email: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wmOl-VBmcE. The recruit I am sending this to is looking for change. He is a male and has been in process with the 24 Day Challenge. He is getting good results. He also had no desire to do the business when he started but now he does. If he watches the video with JP, Angela, and their children, my chances of him committing and attending the meeting in Johnston just got much better.
In summary, I am not talking about a mass email to all of our recruits but more so matching a YouTube up with the person we are recruiting. It does not have to be an invitation to a meeting. It can be an introductory email to a new prospect. The best way to assure a new prospect will come to a meeting is to pick them up in the car. That will NEVER change. But the second best way may be attaching a quick video story to an email and matching the similarities of who you are recruiting with your prospect.
Hope this helps.
Next training tip will be an example of an email to send to a prospect so you are not attacking them but attracting them!
