21st Century Oil & Gold: Spark & Omegas

Thanks to Diamond Matt Warren for sharing.

As a team we grow in the areas of health, finances, and leadership - this note shares some financial concepts... it's worth the read if you want to fully appreciate the power of our business, AND WHAT WILL HELP OTHERS APPRECIATE IT AS WELL.

If a person isn't passionate about nutritionals, can our business model can still be viable and appealing to them? YES - if certain ideas are articulated...

Initial Thoughts and #'s to Consider:

- In the 1800's, 'oil men' weren't in love with oil, but they were attracted the freedom it could give them; IT WAS AN ATTAINABLE OPPORTUNITY OF THAT TIME PERIOD...

- The New Oil - 2010 US Energy Drink Sales (think SPARK) are expected to approach 10 Billion, while Energy Shots (think Advocare SLAM!) are booming during a recession with almost 1 billion in sales...
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/07/11/business/11energy.html

Translation: Spark and Slam = ASSETS WITH MARKET POWER!

- Gold and Silver miners weren't planning to WEAR what they dug up, they were acting on a product that the market demanded because IT WAS AN ATTAINABLE OPPORTUNITY OF THAT TIME PERIOD.

- The New Gold - Fish Oil Sales:
from Forbes Magazine: "Omega's have become a multibillion-dollar business. Sales of over-the-counter fish oil supplements rose 18% last year to $739 million"

Translation: Omegaplex = ASSET WITH MARKET POWER!

We all know that Advocare is about more than earning income, but for some people, that's really all they're intested in at this point... even Danny & Diane McDaniel say "We weren't looking for vitamins or good nutrition, we were looking for a way to earn more income."...

What I'm saying: let there be no excuse of "I'm just not into supplements or nutrition so I'd have a hard time doing this business"...

If we get that excuse, we need to strongly articulate that a person need not be a health fanatic for Advocare to make great business sense for them...

- SPARK CAN BE THEIR OIL WELL

- OMEGAPLEX CAN BE THEIR VEIN OF GOLD

- RECRUITING ONE CHAMPION DISTRIBUTORSHIP CAN BE THEIR EQUIVALENT OF DISCOVERING MICHAEL JACKSON OR THE BACKSTREET BOYS

Advocare = A person's best shot at '21st Century Wealth'.

What's 21st Century Wealth? Tim Ferris, author of "The 4-Hour Workweek" coins the term the 'NR' (the New Rich)... an emerging entrepreneurial culture who's business model FREES TIME AND AUTOMATES INCOME.

The keys to achieving this? Latch onto an impactful, affordable, consumable product, and help to distrubute that product to the masses... ("Normal people 'work', wealthy people build 'net-works'" - Robert Kiyosaki, Author of "Rich Dad, Poor Dad")

Hope these insights deepen your conviction to WORK THE MODEL THAT'S PROVEN TO WORK.

AdvoCare Endorser Update - New Endorsers: Who's the Boss?

Today I would like to introduce two siblings to the team of champion AdvoCare endorsers! They are brothers who play two different types of football. The older brother catches, throws, and kicks a sphere (soccer ball) while the younger catches and runs with a prolate spheroid (American pro football).

Younger brother Kevin Boss is a New York tight end who caught a game-winning 32 yard touchdown pass late in the 4th quarter Sunday to help lift his team to a 24-20 win over Jacksonville! Kevin states that "AdvoCare products have not only helped me on the field and in the weight room but they have also improved my quality of everyday life!"

Kevin’s older brother Terry Boss is a Seattle goalkeeper who also plays soccer for the Puerto Rico national team who posted two shutouts for Seattle this season! Terry says that "With AdvoCare products I feel like I am able to work out longer and at a higher intensity than I ever thought possible, and the Informed-Choice certification gives me peace of mind that the AdvoCare products I use are free of any banned substances."

Advisor Conversation Training Tool

There is a new training video titled "The Advisor Conversation" on the Advocare website.

There are a specific talking points and a specific flow that will directly lead to more advisor orders and people who choose to work to advisor.

The video helps with:
- easing into the Advisor converation
- how to draw out the #'s on paper or dry erase
- key points to pause, transition, or strongly emphasize
- confidently discussing $2100 along with the other #'s
- working someone to Advisor over multiple pay periods (drawing and articulating it)
- utilizing stories and painting vision for people

Pros get paid big money right? It's no different here. If you wanna earn well you can't be disorganized, unsure, weak, and presenting the info out of order.

Steps:
- Watch the Video 2 or 3 times
- Practice on a blank sheet of paper BOTH the #'s for Advisor AND how to work someone there over 3 pay periods
- Apply with a guinea pig or prospect in the 24 hours

Access the video by logging into www.advocare.com ; you'll find it on the left under the new "Training Room" section

Carb Science

Thanks to Diamond Matt Warren for sharing.

When on the 14 Day "Max Phase" of the 24 Day Challenge, why do we suggest a person limit Carb Intake to 30 grams per sitting, and to stay under 100 grams per day?

This will help explain.

What's the deal with CARBS?

Let's first look at science:
-The hormone Insulin causes your body to store fat
-The hormone Glucagon causes your body to burn fat
-Insulin and Glucagon are "opposing" hormones (when one is high, the other is low)
-There are 3 macronutrients: protein, fat, and carbs
-Protein and fat by themselves generate a minimal (if any) Insulin response
-Carbs generate a major Insulin response
-The more carbs you eat, the more Insulin is released
-The more insulin released, the more your body creates and stores fat

What if I ate 2000 calories per day of Tuna for 1 year straight?
What if I ate 2000 calories per day of Frosted Flakes for 1 year straight?

Same calories right? VERY different body composition right?

Suggestion: BE LESS CONCERNED with counting calories.

And START managing your hormones (insulin and glucagon).

By counting/monitoring carb grams.

Please note: This is not an ultra "pro protein" message. It's a your carbs to turn your body into a fat burning machine message.

The Zone and South Beach type programs have been successful over the long term b/c they minimize carbs and balance your nutrition with healthy proteins, fats, veggies, fruits, and low glycemic carbs.

Here is what we've seen to work again and again.
-Limit carbs to 30 grams in 1 sitting
-Limit carbs to no more than 100-150 grams in a day

IF WEIGHT LOSS IS YOUR GOAL, eat just enough carbs to fuel your fitness and life endeavors. any extra will cause fat storage..

THAT will keep insulin low, and keep you out of fat storage mode.

The 24 Day Challenge will minimize insulin stimulation and it's negative consequences - IF you follow the program!

Advocare Lifestyle

Thanks to Diamond Matt Warren for sharing.

I know that some people are not a fit for the business of Advocare, for a variety of reasons. Maybe the relationship based business model isn't their style, leading a team truly isn't their thing, they wanna work with margins, they wanna get big stuff passed by councils and build a project funded by investors, they like bein' dressed up most of the day and being in meetings all day and sometimes having business dinners with people they don't even like and that's fine and great for some people. We need ALL types to make America go.

And there are lots of people like that who's activities are FUELED by our products, which is great!

But for Amber and me - on a business level, we've found what we love to do. Recently, we had a "pinch me" moment as we again realized that we get paid very well for something that doesn't even feel like a job or business. It's a group of activities and benefits that we consistently embrace because it fits our personality and lifestyle we want to live.

Performance nutrition.

Grassroots business at it's most basic level: me or you sittin' down with someone you know, sharin' something that can better their life starting TODAY.

Residual (ongoing) income.

Teaming up with like-minded people.

Living lean and fit as a part of the job description.

No cubicle, no negative co-workers.

"The Advocare Independence Bowl" on ESPN.

Living a "challenged life", and positively challenging the majority around us, one at a time.

Gathering and growing 2X per year as a company, team, and individuals at National Success School.

Skiing on a Wednesday.

Celebrating in our teammates biz success, and hurting with them during disappointment.

Leadership and personal development.

No boss.

No limits.

"You DO you GET" performance based compensation plan.

Enjoying a day where you don't even leave your house.

I don't know if that list resonates with you. I'm sure that if you love the Advocare lifestyle that you've probably got your own list.

But let me say this: if you want this business and the LIFESTYLE that comes with it, DON'T LET ANYONE STEAL YOUR DREAM...

Go get it...

If you want a team, BUILD ONE.

Refuse to be denied.

We've all got a limited productive window of time to really design a life... don't squander it.

Design a life where you spend your days doing what you want with whom you want. you can do that here.

Yes you'll have to work for it but that makes the victory even sweeter!

The products and compensation plan are the same for all of us - the only variable is you.

How To Do A 3-Way Call

THE 3WAY PHONE CALL

WHY USE THE 3WAY CALL AND HOW TO DO A 3WAY CALL PROPERLY

The 3Way Phone Call is a fundamental part of your building your AdvoCare business. It may not feel natural to do the 3way call or appt, but since the highest paid distributors say to do it, we always had the mindset that we wanted to duplicate those who were successful, and the success statistics for those who implement 3rd party credibility are staggering.

REASONS FOR 3WAY CALL

1. Bringing your prospect to the Vine so they hear another story other than yours
2. This is a copy cat business, so if you bring them to another person/story, they will bring their people to you
3. The more stories a new person hears, the more layers of conviction they will gain, and the faster they will get started
4. They trust you, but usually you are very familiar to them, and they need another perspective
5. You may be new to Advocare, and don't know enough to answer all their questions, BUT even if you are a veteran you STILL need to run your business by bringing your prospect to a team member (whether it's your mentor or not) because again, they will duplicate you, and EVERYONE needs more than just one verbal story.
6. Your mentor has more stories, more experience, and more PASSION for what Advocare can do in a person's life, plus they know how to ask the right questions to properly place the new person on the right products or help them have a vision for how Advocare can help them achieve any financial goals they may have.

HOW TO DO THE 3WAY CALL

1. If you call the prospect WITH your 3rd party person say, "Hi Jim, this is Lisa, Hey listen, I have my friend Scott on the phone, because he's had incredible results using the products (has earned incredible income with the opportunity), and we're going to customize you, so you get the best results, this is a team effort". This works whether your purpose for the 3way call is to share the products or to share the products and opportunity. During all 3way calls, the opportunity will be mentioned.

2. If you are on the phone with your prospect and you want to 3way in your 3rd party person say, "I'm so excited you're getting started on the products (or I'm so excited you want to learn more about the business), my friend Scott has so much experience using the products (has earned incredible income with the opportunity). Hold on while I get him on the phone with us because this is a team effort". People truly appreciate being taken care of which is what the new person will feel as you use this system.

KEY: If you ask them if they want to talk to a person they don't know, they will NOT WANT TO, but remember that they are new and just like in parenting (we know what's best for our children even if they may not), WE know what's best for the brand new person so must overcome our fear, and act on that truth. We want them to GET results and if they self prescribe; they may give up too soon or blame the products. People may think they don't need the cleanse, may say they are not a "shake person" etc... and the more experienced person can help the NEW person see value where none may be perceived.

3. KEEP IN MIND THAT YOUR PROSPECT has ALREADY SPOKEN WITH YOU so now it's time for the 3rd party person to talk while you get to listen. THIS IS KEY: RESIST THE TEMPTATION TO TALK ALONGSIDE THE 3rd party person for several reasons.
A. Your goal is to allow your mentor or 3rd party person to share their story and ask questions that will guide the new person towards results
B. You don't want your prospect to feel like TWO people are talking AT them
C. It will show the new person how to share Advocare with others, by connecting them to the team or vine
D. You get to listen in and learn while getting on the job training

WHAT CAN YOU DO DURING THE 3WAY CALL: THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT

1. Have a notepad or piece of paper handy to take notes BUT ALSO TO WRITE DOWN the questions OR comments you MAY BE TEMPTED TO INTERJECT. This will keep you from giving in to the temptation to talk alongside the person you've introduced your prospect too.
2. THIS ONE IS HARD FOR SOME PEOPLE. You may have a hard time remaining quiet, but if you follow these guidelines, you will see results.

SLOW DOWN TO SPEED UP

Remember that each 3way call may be a bit different due to each person being different. Advocare is about relationships so we must allow the 3rd party person to ask a few upfront questions to get to know the person's needs so they can customize a program that's right for them.

Please keep in mind that if you follow this method, you will have success, and if you try to do Advocare on your own, your prospects will share Advocare (usually incorrectly) on their own, and the business more than likely won't flourish!

Tunnel Vison to Freedom

People wanna know the 'secrets' to achieving freedom in this biz.

Here is a major key difference between barely getting by and massive breakthrough.

Truth: To build Ruby (6K+ solid monthly income) here, a person must turn on 'the switch' for a solid 1-2 year period to get the necessary team foundation; it's an intensity and a tunnel vision that would resemble any of the following:

- A politician running for office

- Opening a Subway franchise and giving it your dominant attention for 1-2 years

- Coach Tressel at OSU during the season

- A student in Law School for 3 years

- A new doctor who's on call, or who's opening a practice

Catch this: in any of the above cases, the person's friends, family, and colleagues all know what's at stake! And if they don't, they'll catch the message soon enough.

Imagine:

- Hey Barack, Mrs. Palin, Hillary, wanna go on vacation?
- Hey Coach; we're havin' a birthday dinner Saturday, we'd love you guys to make it!
- Hey Law/Med student, I know you have exams Monday but let's go campin' this weekend
- Hey Doc, you need to chill out, we need to finish this card game before you rush to the hospital - it'll be OK

Point: In each of the above examples, sacrifices are made to achieve greatness. For a period of time, their PURPOSE gets THE BEST of their energy, and other things simply get put to the side for a period of time.

The Law student has a burning desire and a vision for their life, and nothing or no one is going to get in the way of that vision, even if it means being absent for a period of time and saying "no" often.

People might feel slighted or less important along the way (which is their choice). The best you can do is explain the phase of business and life you're in right now, if they're you're friends, they'll get it.

You see, to get MORE family, friends, vacations, and spontaneous adventure, there is a period of time you'll need to give up some (not all) of those.

The doctor gives up much family time, Coach Tressel gives up many friend gatherings, Barack isn't cuddling with his daughters watchin' movies right now... but make no mistake they each have a proud family encouraging them and reaping the rewards from the effort of the purpose driven leader.

Are you ready to tunnel your vision, to turn on the switch, to make the 1-2 year push it takes to achieve greatness?

The Holidays Season is upon us.

Thanks to Matt Warren for sharing.

Hope Alert! The examples below might shock and shift your paradigm, and prove that the time between Thanksgiving and New Years is a GREAT time to share our opportunity with people.

A few examples from Advocare Hall of Famer Jenny Donnelly:

- Jenny contacted her old friend Sara Johnson in late November of 2002, and they got started in December; Sara and Wayne are now Diamonds earning 50K per month.

- Jenny talked to Shawna Danberg at the gym the day before Thanksgiving, Shawna drove to Jenny's house that night and purchased product - she started products on Thanksgiving day! Shawna and J.D. now earn 6-8K per month and Shawna raises their boys from home.

- Jenny had been chatting with neighbor Christine Baker during Nov/Dec. Christine was keeping her at arms length. But at a New Years Eve Party, Christine says to Jenny, "OK what's the deal with Advocare, I wanna know more." Christine and Michael Baker are now Emeralds earning 10K per month with Advocare.

The Point: THE HOLIDAY SEASON AMPLIFIES WHEREVER SOMEONE STANDS REGARDING THEIR HEALTH AND/OR FINANCES.

Health:
- If someone really doesn't care about where they are physically right now, they'll REALLY NOT care about making the change right now.

- However, if someone is looking for physical change right now, they'll be VERY EXCITED to grab and start something that will enhance their results.

Financially:
- If someone isn't focusing or wanting a change in their finances, this will be the WORST time of year to discuss it with them.

- However, if someone is disgusted financially or wanting a change, this is the PERFECT time of year where they are most likely to make a life changing, positive decision toward Advocare.

This is the time of year people assess how well their plan is working, and many are thinking CHANGE. Their financial situation is thought and thought about and discussed often this time of year.

Things just seem to be AMPLIFIED during the holidays.

If someone is depressed, then they REALLY are depressed through the holidays.

If someone is ridin' high, the holidays are a time of ABUNDANT joy and excitement.

It's all about being out and about, always being willing to share the message of Advocare, knowing that the right seed will grow if it falls on fertile soil.

Have fun as you boldly share the message of Advocare this season.

You're about to bring on some incredible teammates!

10 ways to drop body fat with Advocare Solutions

Thanks to Diamond Mike Ferro for sharing these helpful tips.

People often look for the easy way out. Whether its a matter of not wanting to deal with something that makes them uncomfortable, or really trying to avoid a genuinely tough situation, most people opt for the road most traveled. I’m not going to get into whether or not this is a desirable situation. But, for those of you who like things simple and straight forward, I’ll throw a few tips your way. When you are trying to lose weight and focusing on burning fat, there are a few pretty easy things you can do. While basic, these things are ultra effective. Let’s take a look:

1.) Drink more water - People hear this all the time, but do they ever really listen? Water is good for you. You need it. While some people use the tried and true “eight glasses a day” bit, there are others who swear by more. An easy approach is to drink about a half gallon more than you normally do now. If you aren’t focusing on drinking water already, this will get to a more hydrated state. If you are drinking regularly already, a little bit more won’t hurt. Although there are some people who say about water the same thing they say about food, “drink as much as you think you need”, this can be tricky. Because humans can’t rely on our feeling of thirst to tell us when we need to rehydrate, (by the time we are thirsty, we are already dehydrated) we should be consciously drinking water, even when we don’t feel thirsty.

(Spark and Rehydrate)

2.) Start drinking green tea – Aside from green tea’s more well known health benefits such as providing antioxidants and polyphenols for the body, it has another hidden talent. Burning fat. Although most people don’t know much about this, the evidence is there. In studies done on healthy young men, fat oxidation (fat burning) levels were higher following ingestion of green tea extract. Not only will this increase fat burning during moderately intense exercise, but it improves insulin sensitivity and glucose tolerance. Both of these things are key to burning more fat.

(ThermoPlus, MNS, Spark, Amp AT all have same effect)

3.) Get your EFAs – Essential Fatty Acids are fatty acids that cannot be produced by the body and need to obtained from outside sources. There are two types of EFAs, Omega-3s and Omega-6s. Although Omega-6s are important, they are found abundantly in many of the foods we eat. Most often we actually get more of these then we need. Omega-3s are the ones to really focus on. They are found in fish and flax seed, eggs, and meat. While they provide a number of health benefits, they are preferentially used for energy and to aid metabolic processes which makes them different from other fats. Basically, they’re really damn good for you.

(OmegaPlex....LOTS!!!)

4.) Eat Breakfast – This is a great one. It’s one of those things that people often avoid doing because they think it is counterproductive. They couldn’t be any farther from the truth. The cliche “breakfast is the most important meal of the day” couldn’t be more true. If you skip breakfast, your body begins to go into a pre-catobolic state meaning fat and muscle protein are used for energy and deficits are seen in performance due to lower muscle and liver glycogen levels. It’s not pretty. Eat breakfast

(Meal Replacement Shakes, Meal Replacement Bars)

5.) Take a multi-vitamin - Although many supplement companies would have you believe that their special brand-spanking-new ergogenic aid is absolutely vital to your health, most times it isn’t. Most times it’s actually a waste of money. A high quality multi vitamin is different. It can be beneficial for people who don’t eat enough leafy greens, get proper amounts of fiber, have food allergies, or otherwise don’t have an absolutely perfect diet. Most of us fall into that category.

(MNS, Coreplex)

6.) Get more sleep - How many people do you know actually get the recommended seven to nine hours of sleep per night? Do you? Chances are, you don’t. Sleep is important for everything from muscle building to hormone balance. It is incredibly important. Sleep deprivaton wreaks absolute havoc on the body. If you want your metabolism to function almost exactly like that of an individual with diabetes, then stay up all night. Otherwise, hit the hay. Your body will thank you.

(Zzz's and NightTime Recovery)

7.) Get more fiber – This is kind of a two part bit because getting fiber often involves eating vegetables. (which are also important in burning fat) Fiber will make you feel more full, and it will aid in digestion. Fat will make you feel full, but it will also make you fat. Which would you prefer?

(Meal Replacement Shakes, Fiber Drinks, Herbal Cleanse, Fruit and Fiber Bars)

8.) Increase you protein intake – This is huge. Although a lot of people were worried that while increasing protein intake would provide benefits but also have potential harms, the jury is out. Protein will not damage your kidneys or liver. Studies up to this point have demonstrated this fact, often using ludicrously high levels of protein. So while protein won’t cause you any harm, it will increase your metabolism, make you feel fuller longer, and help you get tight and toned or big and jacked — whichever you prefer.

(Muscle Gain Shakes, Meal Replacement Shakes and Bars, Catalyst)

9.) Decrease your carbs – People have heard this one before. It seems like there are people on two sides of the fence. On the one side you have the over zealous Adkins people who avoid carbs at all costs, at least for a period. On the other side you have the people who say they’re “cutting carbs” but don’t really cut anything. An easy approach that is a compromise for both of these groups (and anyone else who falls outside) is to consume less carbs than you do protein. So if you consume one hundred grams of protein per day, consume fifty to ninety grams in carbohydrates.

10.) Lift weights - While there are many different workout possibilities out there, not all of them are effective. Study after study has shown that lifting weights in some form, whether it be in a weight class or with a body part split (i.e. working only your back muscles together) not only builds muscle, but burns fat. This is just as true for the ladies as it is for guys. Hit the weights!

These are all things that you can start doing today. Make it happen!

Cleanse Tips: Drop 10 by Thanksgiving

Some of you are beginning your 10 Day Cleanse Program (the first 10 days of the 24 Day Challenge) today - congrats.

Keep your mind open, it's possible you've been called for leadership and to impact many, and it starts with your cleanse. do it for others as much as for yourself. People whom you've yet to meet are counting on you.

Here are some tips and perspectives you might find helpful...

- Discipline, especially with food and drink, is sorely lacking in American culture. If you desire a health result different from the masses choose to be disciplined in these areas for 10 days.

- For 10 days, the challenge is to not be entertained by food and/or drink; just eat what's on the list and be OK with it (meat, veggies, fruit, nuts/seeds, oats/rice/beans).

- Alcohol: for some it's a non-issue, for others it's a nightly escape. Key is to make sure you're in control of it, not the other way around. This cleanse program makes you boss again - No drinks for 10 days. When tempted, make some tea, tea is your friend. Get a couple clean evenings under your belt and then you're on a path of creative energy and abundant living.

- "Variety is the spice of gluttony"; I heard that from a health guru awhile back, makes the point to enjoy simple and clean nutrition.

- I'm concerned for people who feel like they need "recipes" (boy would they be in trouble if they were ever stuck in the woods for a couple days).

- Pretend you're a caveman/cavewoman for a period of time; eat simply and thankfully for the nourishment you're able to aquire - a piece of fruit is a beautiful thing when it's given your attention and isn't surrounded by a bunch of other stuff.

- There is something magical about sacrificing or "going without" IF you start the process strong and break through to the point of enjoying the sacrifice versus feeling like you're sacrificing.

- But I understand we have a life to live. Today I have a lunch appointment at Chipotle. It's OK... I'll order a burrito in a bowl with rice, beans, chicken, pico, lettuce (maybe guacamole). notice there is NO wheat tortilla, NO sour cream, NO cheese. you can comply with the cleanse regimen ANYWHERE with a little desire and creativity.

- OK so if you want another fun idea then make some chilli. (no cheese or crackers though).

- The first 3 days will determine the rest of your cleanse. those who start strong will finish strong.

- My most productive and inspired times often happen during a cleanse, and I hope the same for you too. let this 10 days be a spring board for an incredible holiday season and a jumpstart to your best year yet. why not?

Urgency & Patience

Some thoughts for those of you who are determined to build your own Advocare business.

URGENCY is an intangible that has accompanied all great Advocare leaders.

That "now" mentality is so important: seizing the moment now, getting the appointment now, doing the mixer now.

Yet sometimes it doesn't matter how "NOW" ya get right? Sometimes things just don't seem to work. If only the blessings would come when we demand them, success and life would be so much more predictable.

A great tragedy of this business is when a potentially great leader gives up 3 feet from striking gold - because they didn't employ PATIENCE. It takes discipline to say, "this stinks right now, and I'm not sure why, and I'm gonna wait it out cause things can only go UP from here. I know that better days are ahead. I need to shift my focus and not make exhaustive conclusions about whether this does or doesn't work".

Word to McFly. it works. that's been proven. seek "the way" to work it and it will be shown over time.

There have been times in our business that it seems so easy it's on fire. we can do no wrong. we've "figured it out".

Yet there have been times where bad things are happening in 3's. we wonder if our leaders are on board. wonder why our last 3 appointments resulted in NOTHING, from Hero to Zero - just like that.

But each set back was a set up for a come back.

During the "winters" we get to reflect, re-assess, grow, strategize, re-commit and we get the BLESSING OF DISGUST.

We've made our greatest business leaps immediately following disgust because disgust is a sign that there's about to be a breakthrough, because disgust is a place we'll not stay.

Let me give you a secret about people who make it here.

They maintain a sense of URGENCY even as they are practicing PATIENCE...

And they practice PATIENCE as they work with URGENCY...

Here's why people don't make it..

1) They're TOO URGENT, and quit when the world doesn't respond to their timing ("the returns just aren't great enough for the effort I'm putting into this" - foolish, but easy to buy into during the moment)

2) They stay PATIENT TOO long, and think that things will magically happen because they like Advocare - not so... APPOINTMENTS MUST KEEP GOIN' ON for someone who wants to hit, keep, or exceed RUBY...

The trick is to URGENTLY WORK EVEN WHILE YOU'RE BEING PATIENT enough to let things unfold... to let the fruit ripen...

Don't be TOO PATIENT...

Don't be TOO URGENT...

But be both URGENT and PATIENT.
