Dear AdvoCare Leaders,
We would like you to be the first to know that Direct Deposit will be available to all Distributors beginning Wednesday, Sept. 1.
AdvoCare offers five ways to earn income and a quick, convenient way to receive it - Direct Deposit. By signing up for Direct Deposit, Distributors can access regular pay period commission funds by the Friday of each Pay Period cycle.*
Signing up is easy. Distributors should complete and sign the Direct Deposit form, attach a voided check from the account where funds are to be deposited and fax to 972-478-4758. The account will be set up within three business days and will be effective within the next pay period. If the Distributorship has a co-applicant, be sure they also sign the form.
There are no minimum or maximum amounts required for this service. Currently, checks less than $25 are not mailed out until the end of the quarter, so this is a great way to ensure commission funds are received.

Dear AdvoCare Leaders,
It has been exciting to watch the exponential growth of our business, and its impact on your paychecks this year. As this growth has been occurring, we have been carefully monitoring the usage and speed of our internal systems. Recently we have made adjustments to your reports and their functionality to help you access information more readily. Over the past 5 Pay Periods we have carefully watched the commission calculation process and have noticed that during a narrow period of time, on the day of a pay period close, that this process is in jeopardy of going beyond the one hour standard that we have between calculations. As a result it is necessary to make a couple of adjustments. Beginning Tuesday August 31, the commission calculation updates will run on the following schedule.
On all days, except the Tuesday of a Pay Period close, the Commission Calculation will continue to run every 3 hours, but the starting time has been changed to 8:30 AM CT. The remaining calculations will then run at 11:30 AM, 2:30 PM, 5:30 PM, 8:30 PM, 11:30 PM CT.
On the day of a Pay Period Close, the Commission Calculation will now run every 2 hours starting at 8:30 AM CT. The remaining calculations would run at 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:30 PM, 4:30 PM, 6:30 PM, 8:30 PM, 10:30 PM, 12:30 AM(Wednesday) CT.
Again, these changes are necessary to accommodate the tremendous growth that is occurring in our business and to continue to ensure that we provide you the standard of service that you deserve and expect.

ESPN TO TELEVISE ADVOCARE V100 INDEPENDENCE BOWL
THROUGH 2017
Shreveport, La. – AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl officials announced a new eight-year agreement with ESPN on Monday, which will guarantee that Shreveport’s postseason contest will be shown by the worldwide leader in sports through 2017.
"We are excited to continue one of our longest bowl relationships with our partners at the AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl,” said Kurt Dargis, - Senior Manager, Programming & Acquisitions.
“The Bowl has provided many thrilling moments for college football fans since we started televising the game in 1992 and we expect many more over the next eight years,” said Dargis.
The 2010 AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl will be held on Monday, Dec. 27 at 4 p.m. CT at Independence Stadium and will be shown on ESPN2.
ESPN first televised the Independence Bowl in 1992, bringing Wake Forest’s 39-35 victory over Oregon to a nationwide audience, and the game has since become a fixture on ESPN’s “Bowl Week”. Last year’s game between Texas A&M and Georgia, won by the Bulldogs 44-20, earned the distinction of being the highest-rated and most-viewed bowl game ever televised on ESPN2 as 2,333,664 households tuned into the game.
“Our partnership with ESPN, which began in 1992, now extends through 2017 and helps us to achieve a level of stability that will allow us to grow moving forward,” said AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl Executive Director Missy Setters. As the 11th oldest bowl game in the country we are looking forward to new partnerships with the ACC and Mountain West and our continued relationship with ESPN.
“ESPN’s long-term commitment to televising the AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl is evidence not only of the network’s belief in the game, but also in the bowl’s two new conference partners, the ACC and the Mountain West,” said 2010 Bowl Chair Jim Hagan. The bowl traditionally showcases our region to millions of television viewers who might otherwise be unfamiliar with our area.”
The 2009 game was also a sellout at 49,654. This marked the first sellout since 2003 when Arkansas defeated Missouri 27-14 with an announced attendance of 49,625.
The AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl will begin partnerships with two new conferences this year, as teams from the ACC and Mountain West Conference will meet in December at Independence Stadium. The agreement with the two conferences runs through 2013. AdvoCare also extended its title sponsorship of the Independence Bowl for 2010. Bowl officials also announced in January that the bowl has extended its partnership with its national radio partner, Sports USA, through 2013. The Independence Bowl has partnered with Sports USA since 2005, which marked the 30th anniversary of the game.
2010 TICKET, MEMBERSHIP, AND SPONSORSHIP INFO
Individual ticket prices in 2010 are $47 for sideline seats and $37 for south end zone seats. Military tickets can be purchased in person by military personnel at the Bowl Office for a special discounted price of $32 for south end zone and $42 for sideline bench seats. Those wishing to donate tickets to the military can do so at those same prices.

Read this book NOW

I just finished a book called Coming Back Stronger by Drew Brees. At Success school Richard told us about the book from stage and a few weeks later Kim ordered it.
This book is absolutely unbelievable. Yes Drew is a stud and he's Advocare's spokesperson but the thing that resonated so deeply with me was his process. Not just the process of playing championship football but the process of living life.
This book just made the Z come back book list. (I'll explain that some other time) READ THIS BOOK...
z
ps. Thanks Drew

New Advocare football endorser - Jared Cook

The AdvoCare pro football tour continues, and today’s stop is in Nashville where we find our newest football endorser, Tennessee tight end Jared Cook.
Jared was drafted in the third round of the 2009 draft. He was used sparingly in his rookie season last year as he caught 9 balls for 74 yards. However, he is expected to play a more prominent role this year with his unique combination of size and speed.
Jared Cook Tidbits
- Declared to enter last year’s draft even though he still had one more year of college eligibility
- Played college football at South Carolina
- Raised the eyebrows of scouts and coaches at the 2009 pro football scouting combine in Indianapolis by finishing first among the tight ends in the 40-yard dash (4.49), vertical jump (41 inches) and standing broad jump (10 feet, 3 inches)
- Jordan’s two favorite products are Post-Workout Recovery Sports Drink and Nighttime Recovery
Did You Know?
Jared’s 41-inch vertical jump at the 2009 combine earned 100 pairs of cleats for his former high school, North Gwinnett (Ga.). Combine sponsor Under Armour Inc. had offered to buy 100 new cleats for the high school alma mater of any participant who ran the 40-yard dash in 4.35 seconds, posted a 41-inch vertical or higher or ran the 20-yard pro shuttle in 3.85 seconds or faster.

Why excitement isn't everything
Thanks to Matt Warren for sharing!
You might think I'm a real stick in the mud after this note but during a jog the other day I couldn't stop thinking about this concept, so wanted to share.
The message: Excitement really isn't that important or impressive to me. I'm encouraging you NOT to rely on it.
That contradicts what we often hear "TO BE EXCITED! Show them your excitement!"
Why don't I buy it?
- Excitement is fleeting; we're not biologically designed to remain excited
- Excitement isn't sustainable over the long term
- Any Joe can sign up in a company and be "excited" for a few weeks
When a jungle juice hustler who is pushing their 7th mlm gig in the last 12 months starts out a meeting or call you'll inevitably hear them say "I've never been so excited!"
So what great credit goes to you if you're excited? Any Joe can be excited. Its our emotion of choice - but it's fleeting.
People think that excitement is going to carry them through to a successful business - after 5+ years here, I'm tellin' ya differently.
Is it wrong to be excited? No.
But we must know that excitement is an occassional emotion that can propel us, but not something that will build and sustain a biz over the long haul or that will necessarily attract certain "champion" types to Advocare.
My sponsor didn't win me by his excitement. The first event I attended didn't win my heart because it was exciting.
Here are some "healthy" feelings and emotions and "CHAMPION VIRTUES" to add to your arsenal, that will help you achieve long term success here, and that will WIN champions to your team:
- AUTHENTICITY
- STABILITY
- RELAXED INTENSITY
- COMMITMENT
- LOYALTY
- GRATITUDE
- PATIENCE
- STRENGTH
- RESPECT
- LONGEVITY
- EXCELLENCE
Those virtues just listed take discipline and growth to learn and implement. Sometimes they aren't fun - but they work.
Those are virtues that the "jungle juice hustler" will typically not implement or sustain.
Those are the virtues that allow you to stand out and above the rest of the pack.
Those are the virtues that win the heart of the skeptical "champion to be" who's carefully watching you over time.
We obviously live in an "instant gratification" culture where quitting is easy and all to common - because anything loses it's excitement after the Honeymoon Phase.
So it takes a special type to be attracted to our company and who will embrace the virtues of what it really takes to be successful here.
Remember: "We Build Champions"
And all it takes is a few to really build something solid here.
Demonstrate the "Champion Virtues" over time, and you will attract it to your team.
Be it.
Attract it.
Duplicate it.
P.S. - Don't get me wrong, we're havin' more fun than EVER with our Advocare business. there are many EXCITING MOMENTS! But it's the champion virtues listed above that are indeed more rewarding than excitement, and allow for continued moments of abundant joy and excitement.

Is Advocare for you?
Thanks to Matt Warren for sharing!
I know that some people are not a fit for the business of Advocare for
a variety of reasons. Maybe the relationship based business model isn't their style, they wanna work with margins, they wanna get big stuff passed by councils and build a project funded by investors, they like bein' dressed up most of the day and being in meetings all day and sometimes having business dinners with people they don't even like, and that's fine and great for some people. We need ALL types to make America go.
And there are lots of people like that who's activities are FUELED by our products, which is great!
But for Amber and me - on a business level, we've found what we love to do. Recently, we had a "pinch me" moment as we again realized that we get paid very well for something that doesn't even feel like a job or business. it's a group of activities and benefits that we consistently embrace because it fits our personality and LIFESTYLE we want to live.
Performance nutrition.
Grassroots business at it's most basic level: me or you sittin' down with someone you know, sharin' something that can better their life starting TODAY.
Residual (ongoing) income.
Teamming up with like-minded people.
Living lean and fit as a part of the job description.
No cubicle... no negative co-workers.
"The Advocare Independence Bowl" on ESPN.
Living a "challenged life", and positively challenging the majority around us.
Crackin' up w/ teammates listenin' to Andy Andrews at Success School.
Skiing on a Wednesday.
Celebrating in our teammates biz success, and hurting with them during disappointment.
Leadership and personal development.
No boss.
No limits.
"You DO, you GET" performance based compensation plan.
Enjoying a day where you don't even leave your house.
Michael W. Smith singin' at Success School.
I don't know if that list resonates with you. I'm sure that if you love the Advocare lifestyle that you've probably got your own list.
But let me say this: if you want this business and the LIFESTYLE that comes with it, Don't let anyone steal your dream. Go get it.
If you want a team, BUILD ONE... Refuse to be denied.
We've all got a limited productive window of time to really design a life, don't squander it.
Design a life where you spend your days doing what you want with whom you want. you can do that here.
Yes you'll have to work for it but that makes the victory even sweeter!
The products and compensation plan are the same for all of us - the only variable is you.

Humble Arrogance
By Randy Gage
August 17th, 2010
So what does it take to break through in our business? I think it’s a dual mindset.
You have to be cocky enough to believe you can be a top pin rank. And you need the humility to submit to your sponsorship line, defer to the system and become a student.
Arrogance isn’t usually attractive. But when it comes to believing in yourself, give yourself permission to get cocky. Because when you believe in you, other people believe in you. And when they believe in you, they believe in what you’re doing and want to be a part of it.
So be brash, be cocky, be a little arrogant. But temper that with the humility to learn and grow, make some mistakes and get better.
You up for that?

Financial Freedom
Thanks to Mike Ferro for sharing.
Many, if not most, of you are coming out of the world and joining us on this journey for Financial Freedom. In the world (your J.O.B.), they tell you when to be there, they tell you what to do, they tell you when you can take a break and when you can have lunch, they tell you what they will pay you (the least they can and you will still show up), they tell you where to sit, how to behave and most importantly (to them) what they will fire you for.
Advocare is like nothing you have experienced out there. You have no B.O.S.S. (other than the person you see in the mirror) and really only have to have the self discipline to follow a system that has worked for 18 years. You just have to get out of bed and go to work on your own, without someone telling you what to do next and living in fear if you don't do it you will get fired. No fear here.
I believe that is called self-responsibility.
The truth is, here in Advocare you CAN have anything you want. The school system in America didn't tell you that, no job you have ever had told you that and certainly the naysayers and dream stealers don't want you to believe that. There is proof everywhere in Advocare you CAN have anything you want.
I read the following this morning in the book "The Magic of Goals" written by Ron Reynolds. The people that are getting what they want follow what other successful people have done. They follow:
The Success Formula
1. The know exactly what they WANT. (DESIRE).
2. They believe they deserve it. (SELF-IMAGE)
3. They have a plan. (GOALS)
4. They believe they already have it. (FAITH)
5. They go to work. (ACTION)
Master those 5 things and income, pins, bonuses, trips and freedom.. REAL Freedom Financial freedom is yours.

Financial and time freedom
Thanks to Matt Warren for sharing!
There is a business model, that, if worked over time, can lead to both financial and time freedom, while also providing a great sense of purpose. The model is ours.
Many people are daily working on a job that:
- doesn't give them a great sense of purpose
- is capped or limited in terms of financial return
- doesn't pay them tomorrow (or 5 years from now) for work done today
Let me preface the main point with some introductory evidence:
- Paul Orfalea (founder of Kinko's), is Greek. When he got to America he couldn't believe all the emphasis on education and "jobs". He says that in Greece you didn't think about a "job", you owned a business (you can be a business owner with Advocare).
- Dr. B, a local Doctor who's my age, said that if he could do it all over again, he'd own a small fitness biz and have a line of supplements. He'd help people w/ wellness and build time freedom in the process. But he's in too deep with loans, identity, etc. (you can be a difference maker with Advocare)
- Recently connected with an old friend who's been with a pharmaceutical company for the past 11 years. He said his work and travel schedule had a lot to do with the recent breakup of his marriage. He said it's been a tough year, but he's gotta keep on working(you can build time freedom with Advocare, which allows you to eventually work your business AROUND your life).
My message: There is a logical business model that leads BOTH to financial AND time freedom, while also allowing people to make a significant positive difference in the life of others. Someone would be crazy to NOT build Advocare on the side of their day job
Our business is so simple and makes so much sense, that MANY PEOPLE MISS IT - sometimes people can be too sharp or smart for their own good!
* I understand that the Direct Selling model is not taught in schools.
* I understand that President Obama doesn't use it as an example when referring to "small business".
* I understand that your parents and neighbors don't head-nod in approval when initially hearing about your new venture.
* I understand that for some weird reason a pharmaceutical rep gains more initial social approval than a nutritional supplement rep.
* I understand that most people can't fathom having a business that's producing revenue for them while they sleep, and without a physical location or store front.
Despite each of the above, here is what I know:
* Our products work.
* Our products sell.
* Our business is incredibly inexpensive to start.
* Our business works - the last 17 years is proof.
* Our business pays you in the future for work done today.
* Our business leads to time freedom.
Why would someone NOT:
- help their friends and family with life changing products?
- do work today that pays them tomorrow?
- give the same opportunity to people they care for?
- build a business that leads to time freedom and options?
Unless someone is completely content, what sense does it make for someone to put all of their eggs into a job in which work today does not pay them in 2, 5, or 10 years?
Why would that person not build a Plan B along the side? It would be crazy not to.
There are many Advocare distributors living a life of purpose, joy, and freedom - a life different from the masses - because of the work they did 10, 5, and 2 years ago.
But first they had to think and do differently than the masses.
So I'm encouraging you to form your own opinion about what and who is crazy, and then to take a side.
* Our products work.
* Our products sell.

Winning Hearts vs. Convincing Minds
By Randy Gage
Most people think the secret of success in recruiting is disseminating enough information. If only it were that easy…
If it were, all you would have to do to build would be leaving flyers around town, handing out DVDs at the mall, or assaulting your prospects with all the lab tests and other scientific data about your product line.
That stuff is good for convincing minds. But to really break through to the top reaches of success in our business, you have to win over hearts. And the way to do that is show your team that you are their partner for success. That means getting in their living rooms and media rooms.
Your people may not remember all the ingredients, peer review studies and research about your product line. But they’ll sure remember if you were in their home, helping them with their first presentations, dealing with prospects and partnering with them.
So how you doing on that?

Be alert!
Good afternoon Distributors in the AdvoCare Leads Program,
Some of you may have received an email from "Ruby Brown" at lastvision11@gmail.com asking about products and offering to pay with a cashier's check. This is not a legitimate order or request and is a scam. We will work to stop this fraudulent activity and alert proper agencies as soon as possible. It seems they are using the leads program to contact Distributors, so please alert your team as well.

Advocare Core Beliefs
Thanks to Diamond Matt Warren for sharing!
Some of you are new.
Some of you are deciding whether to put the 2nd foot in (to go ALL IN or not).
Some of you are still trying to come to grips to whether you're going to "sell vitamins" or introduce your "home based opportunity" to those people in your life whom you love and trust.
Please allow me to share something that will help you decide.
And at the same time - how would you like to take a peek into the minds of 6 and 7 figure earning Advocare distributors?
CLICK HERE to check out the "Core Beliefs" you've got to have in your gut before you'll ever have the magic in your voice or the aura that attracts others to join your mission.
If you've been around for any period of time, you know I don't "sugar coat" what it takes to build a solid Advocare business.
Every successful sports team, corporate culture, church, and community organization shares common beliefs and values - it's no different with Advocare - top leaders buy into the same beliefs, values, and vision.
So enjoy the read and ask yourself:
1) Do I share these core beliefs and values?
2) Although they might be a bit unfamiliar or uncomfortable, am I willing to embrace and condition these values that will ultimately help me achieve my goals with Advocare?

In sales, you are measured and rewarded not by the hours you put in but by what you put in the hours. The quality of selling time is a function of what you spend it doing, where you spend it, how you spend it, and with whom you spend it. Leadership Words from Will Smith...
Thanks to Diamond Matt Warren for sharing.

For those of you who study and learn from the success of others, here's a link to some high level leadership training.
Some will think it's rubbish, some will tune out after 30 seconds, some of you will hang for the entire message and be re-enforced, and some will experience a breakthrough!

Staying fit the 'Easy' Way
Thanks to Mike Ferro for sharing!
17% of Americans have a gym membership, only 9% of that 17% go to their gym once a quarter.. that is a fact.
For the most part people hate to workout. They love to say they are "going to workout" however, for many reasons they rarely do.
Everyone you know is taking supplements:
If you don't believe that
1. park your car in front of a convenience store and count those so called energy drinks they are using those to try to FEEL GOOD (6 billion a year business)
2. go to anyone's house you know and open up their cabinets and their fridge
....every vitamin you can imagine
....slim fast bars and nature valley bars
.....gatorade, powerade, G2, Red Bull, Coke, Starbucks, juicy juice drinks
....something to help them sleep, something to help them wake up, something to help them go to the bathroom
"People are spending $10-20 a day on supplements, mostly purchased at convenience stores, Wal-Mart, and discount vitamin shops" - USA Today
"The Average American spends $84 per pound lost" - NY Times
People could care less about the newest ab exercise, but they WILL turn out in droves to hear about the newest weight loss and energy products!
People want an easier way. The perception is taking supplements is easier. The reality is once you get on Advocare you will get off the coach, start moving more, you will take walks, you will play with your spouse and kids!
And for my gym owners and trainers, when people FEEL GOOD, they start talking about you and your gym. Membership goes up and that gym is recognized as the place you GET RESULTS.
In a nut shell what we do is:
"we give the average family 3 to 4 times the nutrition versus the products they are already using for HALF the price with a third and less sugar." Mike Ferro
By the way, all they hear is HALF the price. You become a hero to your friends and family. Speak with strength and watch how your friends and family stop wasting their money on that other stuff and start GETTING RESULTS on Advocare.

Right now I feel a particular burden to help those of you who might be struggling with belief or have people around you who don't support what you're doing... there will be a few trainings this week on the topic of belief... I encourage you to read and watch what comes your way this week... starting with this:
CLICK HERE TO WATCH "I AM A CHAMPION VIDEO"...
I know what it's like to have someone you care about not share your excitement about Advocare.
- My dad shook his head and told me I needed to get "a real job" when I told him we we gonna build Advocare. (love ya dad, but you don't pay for my mortgage or food)
- Bob Donnelly's dad told him "he was a fool" and that he was wasting his engineering degree. (Bob and Jenny earn 80K per MONTH with Advocare and have impacted many including us)
- Richard Wright's dad told him he was "throwing his future away" when he left pharaceuticals for direct sales. (Richard and Sherry built a Diamond organization, and now Richard is our company president not for the money but for the cause)
Let me be direct: You gotta have thick skin to win here. You gotta have a little chip on your shoulder. You gotta wanna make it work partly to prove it to 'em. I'd be lyin' if I told ya most of the top leaders in this company were nicey-nice puppy dogs. The truth is that they're mentally tough as nails, and they are extremely competitive.
They've got in 'em a little of what this guy is talkin' about.

$2100 Perspective
Here's a concept for those of you sharing the Advocare business opportunity with others.
$2100 Would be a bargain just to have the ability to start an Advocare business, even if it didn't get you any products!
Products are a bonus. Think about it.
Most franchises start at around 40K just to "buy the name" and start the process. (Curves: 30K, GNC: 40K, Smoothie King: 25K)
That franchise fee doesn't include:
- property lease
- signage
- employees
- product inventory
So essentially, the $79 Distributor fee IS the equivalent to the "franchise fee" in the above businesses. the fact that $2100 gets you product is kind of a bonus. it's seed that starts your business.
No matter WHAT business or franchise you start, there is going to be a tremendous amount of sweat equity put in, especially in the beginning. And then it starts to roll..
Are you willing to put in the effort that makes it "roll"?
That's the question you need to be asking people, not whether they can afford $2100. the $2100 is a no brainer, a bargain drop in the bucket in the grand picture of things.
Not to mention that the product purchased is "satisfaction guaranteed" for 12 months (any unopened product can be returned and refunded upon a distributor's resignation).
So it's the people who are taking the ABOVE MESSAGE to the market place who are winning big.
People respond to strength and belief, not fear and lack. If you think $2100 is a lot of money, so will others. if you think $2100 is a bargain for starting up a business with unlimited upside, so will others.
So make sure your mind and heart are in a good place when talking Advisor to people. Remind and condition yourself to the above concept until it becomes your own personal conviction.

The Pace of Follow Up
By Randy Gage
So I’m hosting a first look presentation and there’s a sharp looking, young guy a couple rows back. But the whole time he’s clicking away on his iPhone. I’m thinking he’s not paying attention to a word being said…
A couple minutes after the presentation ends, he bounds up and says his friend wants to join the business. Kind of surprised, I ask how he knows about it. “Oh I’ve been texting him the whole time,” was the reply.
And there’s an important lesson there for you…
There are 6.6 billion people on this planet. Three billion of them are 25 years old or younger. And these generation X and Y candidates are a different breed. They’ve never seen a book unless they’ve been to a museum, they use technology relentlessly, and they have the attention span of a gnat.
They’re tweeting during your presentation, searching your company on Google in the car on the way home and posting something about it on the Facebook page an hour later.
Back in the day, you’d bring someone to a presentation on Tuesday and follow up around Friday. If you do that today, they won’t even remember who you are. (And these are your immediate family members I’m talking about.)
The pace of life has changed to a frantic, hectic speed and attention spans are shorter. So increase the pace of your follow up accordingly. If your candidate is under 50, you probably should be following up within 24-hour increments. If you have a 20-year-old at your presentation, two hours later to check back isn’t really out of the question.
What’s your experience of follow up today? Are you shortening the time frame windows?

Recruiting Lifestyle
Thanks to Diamond Matt Warren for sharing these thoughts!
RECRUITING IS A LIFESTYLE. We're always engaging the process, putting people in the funnel, movin' the ball down the field, knowing that some are never gonna see it, and some are gonna be fired up in either 3 weeks, 3 months, or 3 years. it's a process.
In our microwave society, it's easy to want quick results - we're all guilty of this at times.
As a new Advocare distributor, let me caution your need for instant gratification as you recruit your A-1 prospects.
Some examples:
- if Patrick quits Advocare 3 months into his recruitment of us, he doesn't get us (it took 6 months for timing to be right for us)
- if I write off Greg Frey 2 years into the recruiting process, neither of us win (it took 3 years for timing to match up)
So - go ahead and recruit your hotshot prospects, but just know that it's not likely that their timing perfectly matches with your Advocare epiphany :-)
When they look at you like you've lost it, or they say "no", keep in mind that it's just the first quarter of the football game. Get 'em on Spark or a cleanse.
you WILL get some champions over time as you plant seeds and follow up! But be cautioned..
Some people have an idea that you can achieve success in direct sales by sponsoring a few horses and then coasting with an easy life. although I suppose there are instances of this, by in large it's false, not to mention it's lazy thinking that doesn't lead to fulfillment or purpose driven living.
Your team does what you do. I've heard stories and seen examples of people ridin' high and mighty who stop recruiting and start to live the lazy life and ultimately that duplicates and eventually their life isn't so high and mighty...]]
If you want to preserve your future, lifestyle, wealth, and legacy, continue to work just like Bill Gates, Simon Cowell, Joel Osteen, Phil Jackson, etc...
Direct sales is comparable to the fitness lifestyle.
What good is it to "do a show" (ie: figure competition), and then in the off season be carbin' up, then get so depressed by how they feel that they need to do another show. forget the darn show AND LIVE THE SHOW. be contest ready all the time. That's fulfillment!
So in direct sales, it's not about winnin' your pin or bonus, then coasting, it's about continuing on with the same fundamentals that got you the championship in the first place. it's not about sponsoring the A-1 champion and celebrating, it's about goin' to work with them.
So let's say, for the sake of simplicity, that the average 'recruiting life-cycle" is 1 month. so 1 month after you introduce Advo the average person says "yes". So long as you're introducing it to a few people per month, each and every month, then each month the seeds you planted LAST month will begin to bare fruit! And because you know you planted seeds last MONTH, you're not desperate for the seed you planted last WEEK to sprout!
When you live and do business like this, you're confident and relaxed, because you're in the groove of consistent planting and harvesting, in a state of abundance as someone is always "seeing it" because the seed you planted awhile back took root. you're patient, never in a hurry or in need, but steady in your efforts and direction, and attractive for others to join and follow.
