What happens at Success School?

From cross line leader Debbie Laczko...

**********

Over the last few days I have made the most important decision for my family’s future.

About nine months ago, Kevin and I decided to bring on a “product line” of nutritional products to sell at our office. I left it up to Kevin to learn, grow and sell. Although, I have been using them (and benefitting greatly), I only became interested in the business when he started bringing in the extra income and winning bonuses. Selfish , I know.

Kevin went to Success School in January 2010 and came back CHANGED. I saw it in his eyes and I knew that I could not miss the next one. Quietly, in the back of my mind, I left home thinking this may just be a big hoorah of crazy vitamin people; however, I still was curious of the change that I saw in Kevin. So we left last Friday, and WOW!!! Those three big red letters sum up this experience. As I walked into the convention room, I met another distributor from our area and he was casually chatting with Dr Miller (VP of Research and Development). I received hugs from those who knew Kevin from the weekly “Team Florida” meetings, and I was able to share ideas and encouragement with our local Diamond Distributor. It was a very comfortable setting. I continued to wait for the FREAKISH stuff to start, but IT NEVER DID. I simply felt this was home. Advocare is a family of amazingly courageous people. People who want to help , nourish and develop leaders. I watched story after story of people who made a simple decision not to let anyone steal their dreams. They are no different than you and I, but they simply made a choice. The connecting factor of all the people was faith, family and friends!

I went to Success School and I am FINISHED with the skepticism.

My future is changed. We have the ability and the vehicle to engage the incredible legacy for my family. Journeys and ADVOCARE are now locked strongly.

This is the greatest team oriented organization. It’s integrity is far beyond what I could have ever imagined. I thought Kevin and I were the last people who shared these ideals. This company was shown to us six years ago and I turned it away because I did not see it for all the amazing opportunities that it presents.

Kevin and I have a new opportunity to earn the next incentive trip, which is an all expense paid trip to PARIS. Kevin and I are setting our goals to achieve this, and because we are now working in tandem, we will get there. We are planning to take a minimum of three distributors with us to Paris (would you like to go?) and certainly ten of you with us at the next Success School in February. You can not earn the trip unless you are registered for school. It is almost full now. You MUST go to Success School to receive the atmosphere of what Advocare offers. It is an experience that you can not afford to miss.

Please make every extra effort to be with us this Friday for our nutritional seminar at 1:30 pm in the new consolidated Journeys, 895 Fox Valley Drive Ste 109. We will go over the new products released, the Success School experience and the journey you must take to get to Paris and Success School and more!

I look forward to seeing all of you there.

God Bless you and let’s Go THE DISTANCE…

Debbie Laczko

From Chantal Simpson

My passion as a personal trainer is to help others become the best they can be but I was at a point where I really needed to make some extra income, and I had been interviewing for multiple jobs so that I could train my clients in the early mornings and evenings, and then work a 9-to-5. I had no idea how I was going to do this and cope with also being in grad school. That’s when Advocare shouted, I have a solution!

I was at a meeting when I heard about 50 Days of Fitness and how this program, in conjunction with Advocare, was helping people in the community. This really intrigued me and I felt a strong desire to be a part of this excitement. So much, in fact, that I left the meeting, went over to my boyfriends’ and told him that he needed to come with me to hear about this incredible opportunity. Being that it was a Sunday afternoon, he just wanted to relax, but being the supportive guy that he is, I was able to twist his arm.

Once we found out more about the company and our teammates, we saw the enormous benefits immediately and went straight to Advisor, which is the top discount level in our company. A week later, we were at success school in Texas. I realized that Advocare is not only about helping others feel good and look good, but it is a company full of integrity and great leadership that also gives you the opportunity to earn extra income. As a personal trainer, it is helping me to maximize my client’s results, while giving me the ability to do what I love doing all day long.

Thanks to Advocare, in the last four months, I have already made an extra $9100, including a $3000 rookie bonus and now have just earned a trip to Hawaii!!!! I truly believe that this is going to be my vehicle to creating wealth & financial freedom.

Go Advocare!

From Anastasia Becvar

My husband asked me to write out something I shared with him this
morning. I did, and when he read it, he said, "That's awesome, honey.
Tell the world." LOL, so I am sending this to my full contact list. I
believe there is something in this for everyone. I am afraid of being
judged, of course, or of offending people with a "spam" message. But
it's my truth, and I think it's important to share, so here goes:

132. What does that number mean? It means it’s a lie that it takes 9+
months to get back to your pre-pregnancy weight. It means it’s a lie
that once you turn 30, it’s harder to lose weight. It means it’s a lie
that you have to spend hours a day in the gym or eat like a rabbit to
slim down. It means it’s a lie that you have to take medication or
shots to make a change in the way you feel or look.

Today I am 132 pounds. That number means I am in my size 4s. That
number means I am not embarrassed to wear a swimsuit and go paddle
boarding with friends today. That number means I can plan an outfit in
my head, go to the closet, put it on, and like the way it looks. Any
outfit. That number means I am not preoccupied and defeated by the
number on the scale!

On December 9, the day before I delivered our son, I weighed 178
pounds. I was terrified that I would never have my body back, that
part of motherhood was saying goodbye to feeling good about the way I
looked, that I would be too busy, too tired, too spread thin to do
what it would take to get back in shape. I AM SO HAPPY THAT ALL THAT
FEAR WAS A LIE!!!!!

So many people have asked, “What are you doing?” and I have been shy
about it, because I was afraid people would think I was just trying to
sell them something, but this morning I realized I can HELP so many
people if I just open my mouth and share what I have been doing. So,
if you’re interested, here goes:

Since January, I have done a few simple things:

1) I was open and honest with a few people about my goals, struggles,
and successes. I asked God for strength, and I tried to learn more
about what the Bible says about me and my health.

2) I have reserved sweets/treats/diet soda to special occasions only.

3) I have eaten 5 meals/day averaging about 300-350 calories each,
with a minimum of 10 grams of protein and maximum of 30 grams of
carbohydrates each, including lots of fresh fruits and veggies.

4) I have eliminated starches from my meals after 3pm

5) I have had 80 ounces or more of water per day.

6) I have worked out 3 times per week (4 months at home only), with a
combination of cardio and full-body weight training.

7) I was patient with my body. I did not get discouraged by the slow
speed of my weight loss. I knew if I could average even a pound a week
I was doing great, and was losing weight that would actually stay off.
There were many weeks when the scale did not budge, but I just kept
plugging ahead, knowing that eventually I would see results if I stuck
with it.

8) I have stayed consistent with my supplementation and vitamins. Will
and I use multivitamins, protein shakes, and sugar free energy drinks
from a company called Advocare because their products are tested by a
third party company to insure safety, even for nursing moms. Those
keep my energy up, keep my body properly fueled, keep me regular in
the restroom, and reduce cravings. It is not a magic pill – I still
had to make smart choices, but I know I couldn’t have done this
without that nutritional support. In fact, we love the products so
much we began building a side business last year, and because of that
I am now able to be a full-time stay at home mom (but that’s another
story). So I CAN sell you something, but it’s more than that. It’s
how I get to feel this great, and I want that for you, too.

9) I have managed to do all of that about 70% of the time. In other
words, I wasn’t perfect, but I kept it up with pretty good
consistency.

And you know what? Looking back, it seems easy. I am nowhere near
finished. I feel like I am just getting started! I feel amazing! I
have so much energy! I am excited to tone up even more and bring my
body fat down! My prayer is that this helps and encourages you or
someone you care about. It can be so frustrating to struggle and fail
in this area, but it is so rewarding when you get hold of it. Life is
about more than a number on the scale, but unless we are healthy and
feel good, we can't get the most out of life. And that’s the truth.
All of it.

Thanks for listening,

Anastasia Becvar

Lessons from Drew Brees, Super Bowl MVP

Thanks to Matt Warren for sharing!

There are some great life and business lessons in Drew Brees winning the Super Bowl and the MVP.

Believe in yourself, use others' doubt to fuel your fire
- 4 Years ago Drew had major surgery on his throwing arm. The San Diego Chargers decided to let him go in favor of a younger, taller QB. he chooses his words carefully to describe the situation but make no mistake, it's fueled his fire!

You must be a champion in your heart before you experience the big victory
- Now the masses will be on the Drew bandwagon, the "experts" will crown him as one of the best but we knew it all along, and SO DID HE. "Champion" was an identity Drew owned in his heart BEFORE it was played out on the field.

Expect adversity; fight for your birthright
- Just because Drew had a destiny didn't mean that it came easy. He had to fight! In the NFC championship game, it was a bloody, overtime victory against the Vikings. In the Super Bowl, Peyton and the Colts jumped out 10-0 (can you hear the naysayers at this point?) but Drew and his teammates continued to aggressively pursue their destiny, outscoring their opponent 31-7 from that point forward.

Be a true professional and master of your craft
- Drew is known for being in the film room early and late, meticulously studying defenses. His off-season workout routine is rigorous and consistent. He's taken quarterbacking to another level with his mastery of the game and placement of the football.

Carry yourself with humility
- On his way to victory, Drew has always been gracious and humble, always complimenting those around him. In victory, he did and will continue to do the same. He is a family man and a giver, his walk is strong.

Champion a cause bigger than yourself
- Drew rallied his teammates to fight for the city of New Orleans, to raise them up and give them VICTORY! He's painted that vision since he got there in 2006! He fought for a purpose beyond himself.

Lift those around you to a higher standard
- He took on the role as THE LEADER, and has led by example since he's been there... his teammates have often spoke of his work ethic, his vision, and his intensity, and how that took THEM to another level of belief and commitment...

Break the chains of the past, set a new trend, claim and experience victory!
- Before the game, the "experts" picked the mighty Colts and Peyton Manning. Before the season, they picked Tom Brady (Patriots), Big Ben (Steelers), and Brett Favre (Vikings) as likely Super Bowl Champs. But seasons change. it was time for a NEW CHAMPION! Drew fought the good fight and defeated the best along the way! He believed in HIS city, HIS teammates, HIS vision, HIS preparation, HIS rightful time to be CHAMPION!

Do you see any parallels between Drew's journey and your Advocare business?

I'm sure you do. I do - we've lived them! We had our doubters and mockers. We toiled and kept faith as we watched other industries thrive during their season. We believed in our relatively unknown company while other giants of the industry thrived. From the beginning we felt we had a "destiny" with Advocare - but our destiny wasn't just handed to us. we had to fight tough battles along the way, and continue to do so! We stayed true to our core values (Charlie's vision) while buying into Richard Wright's vision of "going to work" to take our company to another level. We rallied with a few who believed like us and started a movement! Like you, we are both a PART of a movement, and are LEADING a movement. YOU are leading a movement in your own backyard. YOU are the Drew Brees of YOUR team!

I encourage you to accept your role as leader of your team, model the things that helped Drew Brees become Super Bowl MVP, and march toward YOUR VICTORY!

Appointments: Lifeblood of Your Business

The #1 reason people move forward in building an Advocare business: Their ability and willingness to schedule appointments with people.

So why doesn't everyone do it? It's usually silly, unfounded beliefs that rob them of helping others.

- To be successful here, you must have people join your team and/or take your product
- What precedes someone joining your business or taking your products is an appointment
- 5 M's: More Meetings Mean More Money - it's true. The more appointments you do the more success you'll have.

APPOINTMENT (aka "Meeting"): you and your prospect spending set aside, uninterrupted time to find out if they are a fit for Advocare on either a business or product level, with you sharing all levels of involvement, with an invitation for them to join you given that we can provide them a solution.

It's common to see someone stuck in a "meeting reluctance" mode, people doing EVERYTHING BUT quality appointments with quality people.

They're not scheduling appointments due to:
- thinking that occasional chit chat (at work, in public, on facebook) with that person will actually lead to something
- not wanting to put forth the time or effort
- lack of VISION and FAITH as to what the appointments can and will lead to
- fear of rejection
- assuming that their prospects don't need/want Advocare
- using poor thinking or word choices when trying to schedule an appointment

I can't help someone not willing to put in the effort or time, but the other issues are false stuff that we can fix.

Here are some essential beliefs that will POWER you to setting appointments:
- It's not my job to decide if someone needs Advocare, my job is to give people an opportunity to make an informed decision about Advocare
- Something positive ALWAYS comes out of a meeting, even if it's a "no": If someone says "no" to Advocare, then I've successfully identified someone who isn't a fit and I know where they stand
- I am a good, logical, sane person. I was given the opportunity and I eventually said yes, so it only makes sense that I present this to other good, logical, and sane people
- I have in my hands the power to change and save lives
- If I share our DVD, product samples, 24 Day Challenge Program, Impact Magazine, and business opportunity - the right person will be attracted to that and move forward at some level
- I'm not trying to "sell" anyone. I'm sharing how we can provide a solution for them, and offering the opportunity for partnering with them if they choose to accept that solution
- 2 out of 3 appointments will result in at least a retail product sale, often times more

So once you have your head on straight, let's look at word choices that will help you set appointments:
- "Keith, hey I'm hoping you can set aside a little time for me to come visit you. I'd like to show you what Amber and I do. we operate a business from home that's based on referrals, and I'd like you to know what we do so that you can send people our way who might be a fit. it may or may not be for you, but I at least want you to know what we do. you got your calendar handy?"

- That was an actual call I made to a guy from our church the other day, I don't know him that well but I like him and he likes me, so of course he scheduled me and I visit he and his wife tomorrow. I want to partner with people like him, and am fully confident that he'll partner at some level.

- I didn't get into a bunch of stuff over the phone - that's all I needed to say. my goal was to get an appointment. the appointment will allow me to fully share Advocare.

CHANCES ARE:
- YOU can meet with more people than you have been.
- YOU have something powerful to share, but your own beliefs have been getting in the way!
- YOU have greater potential to schedule meetings with good people than you think.
- YOU can build a wildly successful business if you employ yourself, and the above principles.
- YOU will become a master appointment setter and presenter.

Assume the Worst - Thanks Matt Warren for sharing

Legendary football coach Vince Lombardi started each season with the same message to his team: "GENTLEMEN, THIS... IS A FOOTBALL."

He assumed nothing.

This morning I was chatting with one of our up and coming top leaders. He voiced frustration at the distributor enrollment process. It was then that I shared with him that we NEVER let anyone enroll alone (if we can avoid it), that we either place their first order WITH them in person, coach them through it live over the phone, or collect their info and plug it in ourselves.

We then discussed the benefits of 'handholding' early on to ensure a positive experience, and the idea that thoroughly caring and coaching would then duplicate throughout their team. He beamed at the concept and was so thankful.

It then hit me. We indeed should assume THE WORST..

Here's what I mean.

We should assume, that without our coaching and support, a new teammate will:

- expect their prospects to 'sign up on their own'
- take their products incorrectly
- will not use the ideal word choices when asking for appointments
- will hand out flyers inviting to a mixer instead of a face to face or personal phone calls
- will hyperfocus on products, and neglect mentioning our business because "John would never do our business"

Being honest, when I was new, I wouldn't have gotten on a training or bonus call. "I don't need that" is the common thought of ANYONE who brings confidence to the table.

When our upline "pushed" us to listen to the bonus call, we got hooked. ya don't know what ya don't know.

So I assume:

- that unless a new teammate called or emailed me about how awesome the team call was, then they weren't on, and they won't ever get on until I encourage it

- that unless they have told me they got their plane ticket to Success School, that they likely won't go

- that unless I hear about the SUCCESS they're having sampling others, that they're not sampling others

- that unless I hear about the confirmations they're getting for appointments, that they're getting their teeth kicked in by using the wrong word choices, or not asking at all

Notice: this is not babysitting, this is called equipping and not overlooking the intitial and obvious fundamentals of success.

Leaders who equip understand they need to INVEST into their teammates especially early in the game and upon that investment their teammates will not only embrace the principle, but more importantly, they'll duplicate the same coaching to their teams.

"Everything rises and falls on leadership".

Great leaders aren't lazy. They assume the worst and pour into their new teammates with each fundamental until they see it lived out.

If your teammates don't grasp the fundamentals, be OK with moving on accepting that not all will respond to the fundamentals of our profession. As Rick Loy says, "move with the responders".

Just make sure you've done your part:

- Immediately scheduling the New Distributor Quick Training
- Writing down their list along with them
- Roll playing with word choices for appointment scheduling
- Making sure they are taking products correctly
- Impressing the importance of Success School, encouraging the plane ticket
- Plugging them into their first team call
- Plugging them into their first bonus call

The prize is when you've got 10's and 100's of leaders on your team who care and equip just like you do. You're got to create that culture first with a few, which will lead to the many.

No Wolfpack Team Call

Hey guys no wolfpack team call on Wednesday as we have no phone service where we are, see you at school. Congratulations to everyone on their awesome achievements!

Urgency and Patience

Some thoughts for those of you who are engaged, and who want Advocare success in the worst way.

Urgency is an intangible that has accompanied all great Advocare leaders.

That "now" mentality is so important. Seizing the moment now, getting the appointment now, doing the mixer now.

Yet sometimes it doesn't matter how "NOW" ya get. Sometimes things just don't seem to work, if only the blessings would come when we demand them success and life would be so much more predictable.

A great tragedy of this business is when a potentially great leader gives up 3 feet from striking gold - because they didn't employ PATIENCE. It takes discipline to say, "this stinks right now, and I'm not sure why, but I'm gonna wait it out cause things can only go UP from here. I know that better days are ahead. I need to shift my focus and not make exhaustive conclusions about whether this does or doesn't work".

Fact: Advocare works. That's been proven for 17 years now. Seek "the way" to work it and it will be shown over time.

There have been times in our business that it seems so easy it's on fire. We can do no wrong, we've "figured it out".

Yet there have been times where bad things are happening in 3's. we wonder if our leaders are on board, wonder why our last 3 appointments resulted in NOTHING, from Hero to Zero - just like that.

But each set back was a set up for a come back.

During the "winters" we get to reflect, re-assess, grow, strategize, re-commit and we get the BLESSING OF DISGUST...

We've made our greatest business leaps immediately following disgust because disgust is a sign that there's about to be a breakthrough because disgust is a place we'll not stay.

Let me give you a secret about people who make it here.

They maintain a sense of URGENCY even as they are practicing PATIENCE.

And they practice PATIENCE as they work with URGENCY.

Here's why people don't make it.

1) They're too urgent, and quit when the world doesn't respond to their timing ("the returns just aren't great enough for the effort I'm putting into this" - foolish, but easy to buy into during the moment)

2) They stay patient too long, and think that things will magically happen because they like Advocare - not so... Appointments must keep going on for someone who wants to hit, keep, or exceed RUBY.

The trick is to urgently work even while you're being patient enough to let things unfold, to let the fruit ripen.

Don't be TOO PATIENT.. Don't be TOO URGENT.. But be both URGENT and PATIENT.

Ken Rodgers wins Pineapple Man Triathlon

Out of 493 athletes Ken came in 9th overall and won the 35-39 age group. Ken is a personal trainer in Rockledge, FL and an Advocare bonus earner.

I use core nutrition; Omegaplex, Calcium Plus, Coreplex and Amplify AT all daily according to directions. I use Catalyst before and after my various workouts. Spark whenever I need a boost, and before big or hard training sessions or races. I also use muscle strength before racing and tough workouts, especially bike and weight training sessions. When I can afford to, I use Muscle Fuel, and Post Workout Recovery, Post Workout after every workout. Nighttime Recovery is huge for me, makes a big difference. Rehydrate all the time training and racing. I love Bio-Tools! it has made a huge difference for me in so many areas.
If you need anything else, let me know. Sorry just writing this to you!

Good Business

Recently I heard my friend Bob Donnelly's definition of "good business"...

"PROVIDING A GOOD OR SERVICE FOR A MUTUAL BENEFIT"

I was again struck with an overwhelming sense of gratitude and purpose, as it was a reminder of the 'value' we bring to others.

Why is it that some sharp people don't get an Advocare business off the ground?

There can be multiple reasons, here's one of them. Deep down they aren't convinced of the 'mutual' part of the above definition. They feel as if they're 'taking' versus 'giving' when initiating the exchange.

Our business exploded when I got my head on straight with the following 3 Beliefs:

1) I genuinely believe a persons LIFE IS BETTER WITH OUR PRODUCTS in their body than without

2) I genuinely believe I can HELP SOMEONE EARN INCOME with this vehicle if they apply themselves

3) I genuinely believe anyone who joins our company WILL GROW BOTH AS A PERSON AND A LEADER

Therefore I shall fear no man. I am simply a messenger who shares the message of Advocare and what it can be for a person. I trust that a person who is a fit for our company will 'catch' that message and we'll move forward in a mutually beneficial business relationship that impacts people in a positive way.

Adopting those beliefs in our core allowed us to bring a bold and unwaivering message to the market place, without being pushy or needy. People follow certainty. People follow strength.

If you apply these beliefs and laws, your impact and business will grow!

Thanks to Diamond Matt Warren for sharing.

Got Cha-Ching? Thanks to Matt Warren for sharing!

When someone asks "What do you do for a living?" the answer
could be:

"I am in Business Development for Advocare. Have you heard of us yet?"

"I am in Business Development for a Sports Nutrition Company"

"I am in Business Development for a Weight Management Nutrition Company" etc.

It depends on who asks.

What this means to me is that I earn profits every time I increase Advocare's Development - Instead of earning wages, I earn profits based on my production.

This is how most businesses work - However, the neat thing about Advocare is that it doesn't stop there and I am not limited by what I alone can produce or develop.

With Advocare I can also earn profits by bringing on other team members and helping them develop business for Advocare. The more business they develop (orders leaving
the warehouse) - the more profits we all earn. Basically every time an Advocare box leaves the facility with my name on it or someone on my team's name on it, WE EARN PROFITS

More distributors on your team = more boxes leaving Advocare

More boxes leaving Advocare = More Profits

WHAT'S GOING CHA-CHING FOR YOU WHILE YOU'RE:
- WORKING YOUR "PLAN A" JOB?
- SLEEPING?
- TRAVELING?
- SERVING?
- WORKING OUT?

We're in America guys - during the greatest time in history to build your own low-overhead CHA-CHING business.

AdvoCare Endorser is 2010 Women's Soccer All-Star

The women’s pro soccer league has announced the starting 22 players for its 2010 All-Star Game presented by the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, and AdvoCare endorser Cat Whitehill is once again a member of the elite group! Cat was also an All-Star in 2009.

The all-star game kicks off at 8 pm ET on June 30 at the KSU Soccer Stadium in Kennesaw, Ga.

Hope all is well with you and your families and look forward to seeing all of you June 25-27 in Fort Worth for Success School!

From Anastasia Becvar

In our business the people who can tell a story make the most money. The email below went from cross line leader Anastasia Becvar to her team. She and her husband Will are using the vehicle of Advocare to design life on their terms.

The question isn't is it "possible". The question is and will always be "are you willing to do what is necessary". Anastasia and Will are an example of the latter. And little Gabe will get to grow up with mommy. And little Gabe will learn at a cellular level how to take care of his family.

Who is learning what in your family?

Congratulations Anastasia, Will and Gabe
love and respect,

Kim & Z

************************

Team,
This week is my last week of school. Because of Advocare, Will and I
have a way to bring me home from teaching to raise Gabriel. Otherwise,
I would absolutely have to go back to teach in the fall. I have said
many times, I wish I "got it" just three months sooner so that I
wouldn't have had to return to work from February - June. My son has
grown so much in those few short months. And I missed far too many
hours.

The only thing that has ever held us back in making this business
profitable has been fear of failure and disbelief in our own
abilities. I encourage you to take a step toward your dreams and goals
and know that you will not regret the effort you put in. More than
anything, I want you to see the full potential in yourself to do what
you desire, and for you to stop waiting to feel like you know what you
are doing. Whatever your goal, whatever your timeline, whatever your
purpose, we are here to support you.

Our checks from Advocare have been between $1000 and $1500 per month
since February. We retail product on top of that. We get to take
product and feel great! I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Will is
smokin' hot! We get to help people feel better and build a plan B
income with which their hearts' desires become reality. God provides
for our family, and we believe Advocare is the tool he has blessed us
with to make our hopes reality. We will double our Advocare income by
September. It's time for us to go to the next level. Who wants to join
us? Please email me back and let me know. I need to know who I am
working with. I'm learning fast to spend time on the people who really
want this...even if "this" is just an extra $200 a month from
retailing product. Decide what you want, and let us help you.

If you need to make this work, Success School is key. Tuesday,
Thursday and Saturday meetings are key. Will and I have sat in and
"re-heard" stories after stories. Please don't make the mistake of
thinking you already know all you need to know. Plugging in to the
leadership and passion of the Central Florida team IS what got us to
the next level. Watch the DVD. Again. Read the magazine. Again.
Explore www.advocaretraining.com and www.bigbelief.com. Again. We do.

If you want to stay exactly where you are, then you don't have to do
any of this. If you are satisfied with where your life is, amen. I am
so happy for you. Sorry for the email. If you are still searching for
a way to make "more" out of your time on this earth, please reach out
and do something with all the support and training we have in this
area.

Angie & Joanne Conte live in Connecticut. This is their third pay
period. They went straight to Advisor. In spite of being far away,
they have led our entire team with their numbers every single pay
period. They call me. A lot. They do what I tell them. Always. They
are losing weight, getting healthy, and talking about it. They see
this as their way out, and they are going to make it so. Welcome to
the team! Love you guys!

That's all for now, and as Will loves to say, "That's the real deal."

In it to win it,

William and Anastasia Becvar

Consumables = Freedom & Security

Ready for a shocking stat?

Did you know that 78% of NFL players are bankrupt or in serious financial distress within 2 years of retiring?

So obviously a big salary doesn't mean financial freedom or security.

If we want financial freedom and security, we've got to pour into a business, even if only on a part time basis, that will pay us tomorrow and in the future for work done today.

If you lost your day job or retirement benefits, would you have an existing, ongoing income stream?

Did you know that your Advocare business can be built into an income producing asset?

(3K residual monthly income in Advocare is very similar to having $1,000,000 in the bank! Thats 1 Million.)

Because our world class nutritionals are CONSUMABLE, unlike a necklace or piece of cookware, people purchase our products over and over because they work and are a part of their lives.

Around $2400 and someone is ALL IN. Yet with a little growth, sweat, and effort, you can easily build your business to pay you at least $1000 per month.

Tell me who's got a better plan than that??

As Jim Rohn says "this is America". why wouldn't a person engage in part time activity that builds a residual, ongoing income? Answer: "Mystery of the Mind".

If you're not pleased with the last 5 years of your plan, simply choose to take control of the next 5, because 5 years will be here soon. After all, you gotta spend your time doing SOMETHING over the next 5.

In 5 years, what will be paying you outside of your day job?

Appreciate what you have been given. It's the best plan out there.

Cash Circulation & the Advocare Opportunity

I'm not an economist, but I have made an observation on which you can form your own opinion. This isn't a short and light message, but if you desire to earn income in this economy, you'll find it worthwhile.

BEWARE of a dangerous perception floating around that can rob you and your family of passion and destiny.

The perception of some people is that "$ has stopped circulating".

Make no mistake. $ is circulating, that doesn't change.

THE PATH OF $ AND WHERE IT'S CIRCULATING DOES CHANGE!

Let's do 10 $ circulation comparisons from 2 years ago vs. Today.

2 years ago compared to today, more $ circulated through:

1. New Auto Sales
2. New Home Construction
3. Starbucks ("5-Bucks")
4. 1-on-1 Personal Training
5. Commercial and land real estate investing
6. Nordstrom and Macys
7. The Stock Market and inflated investment promises (guys like Bernard Madoff)
8. Mexican Restaurants
9. Highly Paid Physicians
10. Nutrition and Wellness Products/Services

Compared to the similar list above, TODAY more $ is circulating through:

1. Used Car Sales
2. Home Repair and Improvement
3. Spark Energy Drink ($.75 a serving for Advisors)
4. Group Fitness Training b/w $100-$150/month per person (Advo teammates Brock Meadows and Greg Smith are boomin' their fitness business with SMALL GROUP training vs the old 1on1 method)
5. Real estate auctions (buddy Greg Frey is thriving b/c he transitioned from commercial real estate toward real estate auctions!)
6. Kohls discount dept stores (profits are up and they're building 9 new stores!)
7. Gold and other metals, and low risk govt. backed investments
8. Chipotle and QDoba (always packed - $6 feeds your face vs. $20 at a restaurant)
9. Physician's assistants, nurses (Dr. support teams)
10. Nutrition and Wellness HOME BASED OPPORTUNITIES (yes people love and purchase products, but a greater % of nutrition business is now coming from people investing in the OPPORTUNITY)

Are you seeing it?

Has $$ stopped circulating? No.

Our education does not dictate the market. The market and trends should dictate what we're investing and building.

There will be people who become wealthy in this economy. How? They'll put themselves in the current path of $$$.

People are investing in the Advocare Opportunity. It's satisfaction guaranteed, low risk, and it's a part of the growing wellness revolution.

Speak to people about opportunity in addition to products! That's what people are asking for and need right now. Put yourself in the path of $ circulation.

Advocare's compensation plan

I'm leery of people who insist on mastering or picking apart the marketing plan before they move foward or GO TO WORK with Advocare. Typically they get stuck in "analysis paralysis" and never do anything.

What drew us to Advocare was:
- the people and the founder's vision
- science/products
- pro athletes and college strength coaches who put their name with Advocare
- 12 month $ back guarantee on any unopened product
- normal people who had built wealth over 2/5/10 years w/ Advo and remained loyal to the company

I didn't care HOW the compensation plan worked, the most important thing to us is that it DID work.

We knew WE were going to go to work, and that like others who'd gone before us, that we'd get compensated in proportion to the # of people we and our team helped.

Advocare pays 60 cents of every dollar BACK to distributors.

For that 60 cents to be paid to distributors in a just and fair way, there is an element of complexity.

We must understand: our compensation plan is complex because it's fair!

Hey, if ya really wanna keep it simple, simply be an Advisor at 40% discount, retail product and earn 40% - that's simple!

But for those of you who desire to grow as leaders who grow leaders, there are many variables and factors as to who earns which leadership bonus, etc.

When someone chooses to be a doctor or lawyer, they go ALL IN knowing that there are going to be 6-10+ years of learning and challenge with elements they don't understand now, but they move forward because they've got a vision for what they want to achieve!

I encourage you to do the same with this vehicle if you desire success.
- trust the process
- seek to understand
- know that you'll get better over time

Focus on what's most important now: help people see the value of our product and/or business, move them to the top discount level.

Your understanding will grow as you see the compensation plan unfold in front of your very eyes with real life scenarios. After a few months of activity, you'll understand the entire marketing plan with certainty and ease, and you'll be amazed at how genius, generous, and fair our plan really is.

Business Presentation resource tool

**Thanks to Matt Warren for sharing**

I believe your best performance, confidence, recruiting, teammates, leadership, and duplication is right around the corner.

Want to know about a resource that new 'Gold 3-Star' Jodi Townsend (MI) utilized 3 times last pay period, and in each of 3 cases the person went to the Advisor level?

This resource will:
- increase your understanding of Advocare
- help you communicate Advocare more effectively and visually

Go to www.workwithchampions.com (site for people exploring Advocare), then click on "BUSINESS PRESENTATION"

Here are some examples of how you can use this tool:

1) If you're visiting with someone, simply go to your/their computer and pull it up; walk and talk them through pertinent info

2) I can pull up my laptop at a face to face meeting, and essentially have a "mobile presentation book" - ***REMEMBER: YOU MUST BE PUTTING WORDS AND STORIES TO THIS PRESENTATION!

3) You can be on the phone with a person out of state, and you simply walk and talk them through this presentation as they are on their computer and you are on yours

**you don't need to view/talk through every slide, only the ones that help take your new person to the next level of belief or understanding of Advocare

Please keep in mind, the following fundamentals don't change and must be used ideally before/with the online presentation:
- Sharing your story and your vision
- Sampling Spark and/or Rehydrate to them if possible
- Asking what their #1 health goal is, and if an extra $1000+ per month would be helpful
- Impact Magazine and DVD (the power of stories!)

Things evolve and improve over time, and we/you must give our teammates the BEST chance to win with the BEST resources at their fingertips.

We've been seeing proof that this tool is, along with The 24 Day Challenge, a major reason for the near doubling of our company in the last year.

With so many resources at our fingertips, we've got to be discerning as to how many we incorporate and when. Knowing that I typically lean toward "less is more" and "keep it simple", I feel confident in adding this as a key tool in our efforts, and encourage you to do the same.

We also ordered several sets of the hard copy version of this presentation, instructions for printing those booklets are at www.advocaretraining.com - I'd encourage you to use the online version at www.workwithchampions.com a few times before you order the hard copies.

The future is bright! Your best performance, recruiting, teammates, and duplication is right around the corner!

Educational Viewpoint - Thanks to Matt Warren for sharing!

Most of my generation grew up believing/expecting/hearing the following...

- good grades and a college degree pave the golden path
- something or someone with a big and secure idea would provide a "job" for me

I'm a fan of education and value the HS/College education I have, but education is a stepping stone, not a ticket! (and informal, business/growth/sales/leadership education is something anyone can begin now)...

A few things weren't impressed upon my generation...

- entrepreneurship
- salesmanship
- communication and people skills
- residual income
- freedom, designing a life
- purpose driven work that you don't "retire" from

And here are some SAD RESULTS due to the above...

- many people have a hard time taking a check or cash from someone else because they're afraid to profit!... (news flash: whether we see their face or not, someone is profiting off of EVERY penny we spend)

- many people have chosen to swipe credit cards beyond their limits RATHER THAN "SELLING" ON A PART TIME BASIS TO EARN AND PAY CASH for the purchases beyond what their job can afford.

- many people suffer financially rather than build their own business on a part time basis that could give them a better life.

- a generation (many, not all) of workers who have a sense of entitlement for a nice salary and good life but don't have the guts to create it.

- a credit/economic crunch fueled by a generation who insists on borrowing before earning.

I'm direct about this topic because I've been on the other side and was in a sink or swim position. I chose to swim... FIND THE SWIMMERS!

Degree or no degree: give me a person with some guts, integrity, influence, and a desire to grow and learn NOW, and we can build something special.

A Lesson in Excitement - Thanks to Matt Warren for sharing!

You might think I'm a real stick in the mud after this note, but during a jog the other day I couldn't stop thinking about this concept, so wanted to share.

The message: Excitement really isn't that important or impressive to me. I'm encouraging you NOT to rely on it.

That contradicts what we often hear "TO BE EXCITED! Show them your excitement!"

Why don't I buy it?

- Excitement is fleeting; we're not biologically designed to remain excited
- Excitement isn't sustainable over the long term
- Any Joe can sign up in a company and be "excited" for a few weeks

When a jungle juice hustler who is pushing their 7th company in the last 12 months starts out a meeting or call you'll inevitably hear them say "I've never been so excited..."

So what great credit goes to you if you're excited? Any Joe can be excited. Its our emotion of choice - but it's fleeting.

People think that excitement is going to carry them through to a successful business - after 5+ years here, I'm tellin' ya differently.

Is it wrong to be excited? No.

But we must know that excitement is an occassional emotion that can propel us, but not something that will build and sustain a biz over the long haul, or that will necessarily attract certain "champion" types to Advocare.

My sponsor didn't win me by his excitement. The first event I attended didn't win my heart because it was exciting.

Here are some "healthy" feelings and emotions and "CHAMPION VIRTUES" to add to your arsenal, that will help you achieve long term success here, and that will WIN champions to your team:

- AUTHENTICITY
- STABILITY
- RELAXED INTENSITY
- COMMITMENT
- LOYALTY
- GRATITUDE
- PATIENCE
- STRENGTH
- RESPECT
- LONGEVITY
- EXCELLENCE

Those virtues just listed take discipline and growth to learn and implement. Sometimes they aren't fun - but they work.

Those are virtues that the "jungle juice hustler" will typically not implement or sustain.

Those are the virtues that allow you to stand out and above the rest of the pack.

Those are the virtues that win the heart of the skeptical "champion to be" who's carefully watching you over time.

We obviously live in an "instant gratification" culture where quitting is easy and all to common - because anything loses its excitement after the Honeymoon Phase.

So it takes a special type to be attracted to our company and who will embrace the virtues of what it really takes to be successful here.

Remember: "We Build Champions".

And all it takes is a few to really build something solid here...

Demonstrate the "Champion Virtues" over time, and you will attract it to your team.

Be it.
Attract it.
Duplicate it.

P.S. - Don't get me wrong, we're havin' more fun than EVER with our Advocare business.. there are many EXCITING MOMENTS! But it's the champion virtues listed above that are indeed more rewarding than excitement, and allow for continued moments of abundant joy and excitement.
